News Warm Welcome to Partner Secondary Schools for University Practice Interview Evening 19.11.2025
On Thursday 11 November, we were delighted to welcome students and experts from across London for the school’s annual Practice Interview Evening, an event designed to prepare Sixth Formers for the demands of university admissions interviews. A total of 88 visiting students joined 57 Godolphin girls to take part in mock interviews conducted by teachers, subject specialists, and professionals from a wide range of fields.
The evening offered students a valuable opportunity to articulate their ideas clearly, respond to challenging questions, and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for their chosen subjects. The combination of time pressure and an unfamiliar interviewer also helped mirror the conditions the candidates will face in their actual interviews.
Feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Students praised the authenticity of the interview experience, while visiting teachers and professionals noted the high level of preparedness and engagement on display. The school was particularly pleased to welcome students from its state-sector partner schools—Kensington Aldridge Academy, West London Free School, and Holland Park School—whose involvement added to the collaborative spirit of the event.
Many thanks indeed to everyone who contributed to the evening’s success, including staff members who volunteered their time, as well as the many friends, family members, and Old Dolphins whose support and expertise make the event possible each year.
