News Columbia University Talk 13.11.2025

In November, our Sixth Form students enjoyed the opportunity to attend a lunchtime talk by the Director of International Recruitment at Columbia University, Mr Chris Quach.

During the talk, Mr Quach described the distinctive qualities of Columbia undergraduates who are creative thinkers and intellectual risk-takers eager to cultivate a multifaceted sense of self in the vibrant city of New York. Our students deepened their understanding of the wide array of academic courses and programmes offered at Columbia while exploring how the Core Curriculum creates a communal learning experience that spans disciplines and generations.

Our students left the event feeling inspired by the learning opportunities available to them, and Mr Quach was very impressed by their high level of motivation shown through their insightful comments and thoughtful questions.
