We offer a wide variety of sports, with Hockey and Netball being our largest, having gone from strength to strength over recent years.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate, experienced and well-qualified Teacher of PE to join our large and thriving PE department as a highly motivated all-rounder. The appointed candidate must be able to teach and coach a wide variety of sports. A specialism in Hockey is essential. The successful applicant will also be required to commit fully to the School’s extensive extra-curricular programme, which offers a vast range of activities.
This is a fixed purpose (maternity cover) contract of employment, which will commence on 1 September 2022 and will terminate on the working day prior to the permanent post-holder returning to the school.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
Accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.

All staff working in the School during the school day will have contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. As a teaching member of staff you will be working directly with, and be responsible for, the children that you teach. You are also likely to have contact with other pupils on a regular basis which may include specific pastoral or other responsibilities for pupils whom you do not teach.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
