The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country’s leading independent day schools for girls, located on a six acre site in Hammersmith, London. We seek to appoint a Premises Assistant to work on a permanent and full time basis, on an alternating shift pattern with obligatory regular overtime. With this past year as an exception due to the pandemic, this is usually a very busy school, both during the daytime and in the evenings throughout the year, with a variety of events frequently held outside of normal school hours.
The appointed candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible, on the completion of their notice period if applicable and all necessary pre-employment checks.
We require a motivated, enthusiastic and proactive candidate to join our Premises team, to assist with set-ups for activities and events, repairs, decoration, security and maintenance of the school’s buildings and furniture, and to retain the high standards and safe environment that the pupils, staff and visitors expect at all times.
Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary, however, applicants will need the basic relevant skills and the ability to fulfil the needs of the role. Full training will be provided to the appointed post-holder. The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
