A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate, well-qualified and suitably experienced native or completely fluent German speaker to join the school as a German Language Assistant from 1 September 2021.
The role will involve conducting conversation lessons with pupils aged 11-18 in small groups, pairs or on a one-to-one basis and the provision of support with preparation for IGCSE, IB and A Level oral exams.
The successful candidate will possess a good university degree in a relevant subject and will have very strong spoken and written English skills, along with detailed grammatical knowledge of both English and German.
The post-holder will work one day per week (8 hours) during the term time and the full week in which each term begins and end. The working day and hours will be agreed on appointment. The working day may alter each academic year depending on the needs of the timetable. The School may be able to consider the hours being worked over two half days per week.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
