With their first year at Godolphin and Latymer completed, 24 excited Year 7 girls set off for the beautiful Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy to practice the French learnt within the classroom.
It turned out to be a fabulous trip with the girls participating in a series of activities which challenged both their physical and linguistic skills, with the instructions for each activity being relayed to them in French. The weather was glorious and the girls even made friends with the Château’s bunnies.
We all agreed that five days was too short and it was fortunate that there were the long holidays to look forward to as we travelled home. Vive les vacances!
