U14s win the U15 London Schools competition to make it to the county finals

Posted: 08/02/17

On Tuesday 7th February two U14 teams traveled to Lords to play in the first round of the Lady Taverner's indoor cricket competition.

Both teams played extremely well showing some excellent bowling as well as reaction times to catch several players out. Great team spirit was evident throughout the day with girls celebrating and praising others' great batting and catching skills.

Part way through the day Alastair Cook dropped in to see the girls in action and they were delighted to him meet him.

The A team were crowned champions having won all their games throughout the day, meaning they are off to the county finals in March, with the B team finishing 3rd. A great day of cricket which was thoroughly enjoyed by all! Congratulations girls!
