The girls played some amazing cricket in order to secure their place in the national finals. They worked brilliantly as a team, supporting one another and encouraging each other when both batting and fielding. They won all of their pool matches and went onto play Kingston Grammar in the semi finals. The girls dominated the match and were convincing winners. In the finals they faced Kent College again; this had been our toughest pool match and went to the last ball. The final was no different. Once again we batted first and sent the target of 129 for Kent College to win. With two overs left they needed 30 runs. The girls rallied and with the last ball nine runs were needed. They stayed cool and limited them to just two runs........we were champions!!! A very well deserved achievement! National finals here we come!!
