The Sixth Form Enrichment Programme

Posted: 25/09/17

Earlier this term, Caroline Drennan, Head of Sixth Form, launched our third year of the Sixth Form Enrichment Programme with a wide ranging and incisive talk on ‘Identities and Entities’. The talk set the tone for this half term’s Enrichment Programme, which is designed to stretch our sixth formers with explorative lectures that take them beyond the classroom, encouraging an inquisitive approach to their subjects.

Every Tuesday this half term, we will be hosting a series of lectures for the sixth form to attend on a variety of topics. The lectures are delivered by staff with a particular passion, expertise or controversy to pose. We are very grateful to the members of staff who have contributed to this year’s exciting programme - from ‘How the ancient Greeks can save us from fake news’ to ‘How to recognise an Artificial Intelligence’ via ‘The search for Mexican Identity in the 20th Century’ to name just a few!

It promises to be an exciting and enriching programme!
