Sustainable Development Lecture Series: Doctors without Borders

Posted: 12/10/18

We were delighted to welcome Doctors without Borders - an international humanitarian organisation delivering medical aid in times of crisis - as part of the Sustainable Development Lecture Series.

In an insightful talk into the world of international aid, our guest speaker touched on some of the work the organisation's skilled doctors and nurses do in more than 60 countries around the world - including the likes of South Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Central African Republic and Syria.

The talk focused on the Doctors without Borders' work in meeting Sustainable Development goal number three; good health and well-being, and how essential good health is to sustainable development.
