Lower Sixth Art History Visit the National Gallery

Posted: 07/12/17

LVI Art History students' visit to the permanent Renaissance collection at the National Gallery was a great success with girls really focusing on seeing the work at first hand, and benefitting from Miss Blatt’s expertise on Leonardo Da Vinci's ‘Virgin of the Rocks’. A select group returned to there to the annual ‘Ways of Seeing’ Conference on 25th November for a series of stimulating talks on the theme of Art & War from the Futurist Manifesto to Jenny Holtzer’s contemporary work at Blenheim Palace.
