House Drama 2017: Bassi are the winners!

Posted: 09/03/17

The Fourth Annual House Drama Festival took place on Tuesday 7th March. Each house had to devise their own piece based on a Roald Dahl book – the idea for Roald Dahl came from Anna and Sarika in the UVI. Second place went to Naidu house with their performance of Fantastic Mr Fox from the perspective of the farmers and factory workers which was very creative and funny. The winners this year were Bassi House with their interpretation of The Twits, where Mr and Mrs Twit were vain, fake instragram celebrities who are taken down by their media team. Overall it was great to see so many girls from different year groups working together as directors and actresses to creative imaginative interpretations of these wonderful stories.
