Organised by the Higher Education and Careers Department, the Higher Education Forum for LVI and their parents took place on the evening of Tuesday 6 March.
Alongside three sessions of talks on specific degree courses in the UK given by teaching staff and subject specialists, there was a talk on applications to Oxford and Cambridge which featured current UVI speaking about their own experiences of the process. Representatives from a range of organisations such as Camp America, Morgan Stanley and Art History Abroad attended the buzzy Gap Year and Summer Activities Fair, inspiring students and parents alike on the exciting opportunities on offer.
The event was well attended and provided the next step for LVI on their journey towards shortlisting their final university courses. They will embark upon the Higher Education Prep Programme in the summer term which includes admissions test prep, enrichment classes, UCAS applications and personal statement writing.
