We are absolutely delighted that Amanda Triccas, who leads our Staff Professional Development, has been shortlisted for the iExcellence awards alongside other leading influencers and innovators in the independent schools’ sector.
Amanda Triccas, who teaches history and joined Godolphin in 2013, was nominated by the school for her commitment to the professional training and development of staff here and in the sector generally. Amanda has helped foster a school ethos which values staff development and has ensured that our programmes have professional impact. Furthermore, the school has established a reputation for being a leader in the field; teaching staff and senior leaders from other schools regularly attend training sessions that Amanda runs at Godolphin. All of this helps us recruit and retain excellent teachers to ensure the best teaching and learning experience for our students.
The judges from the iExcellence awards were looking for nominees that captured the imagination of others, changed behaviours, improved pedagogy and school management processes, and had a measurable positive impact on children. Congratulations to Amanda for a well-deserved place on the shortlist!
