Philosophy
The school's pastoral philosophy is based on developing the growth of the individual within the community. We aim to encourage our girls to be independent, caring, reliable and responsible members of the school community, and to contribute to its life and also the life of the wider community. During their time at the school we hope that our girls' self-respect and self-confidence will be strengthened, and that respect and care for others will be evident in all they do. We hope to offer care and support to all girls, particularly those experiencing difficulty, and to know and value them as individuals, dealing with any problems or concerns on an individual basis.
Organisation
For pastoral purposes the school is organised in three 'sections' known as 'Lower School (Y7-9)', 'Middle School (Y10-11)', 'Upper School (Sixth Form)' with section staff and form staff as appropriate for the various stages of development of our girls.
