The Department is housed in a building completed in 1991: there are four studio spaces, a darkroom and a purpose built ceramics room was opened in 2000.
Specialist equipment includes:
- A large Flat-bed Printing Press
- Extensive Black and White Developing Facilities
- Two Kilns
- Potters Wheels
